USDA reported a private export sale of 264,000 MT of soybeans to unknown destinations, all for the 2026/27 marketing year.
NASS crop progress data as of June 7 showed 92% of the U.S. soybean crop planted, 4% ahead of normal, with 79% emerged, 8 percentage points faster than average. Good to excellent condition ratings fell 1% to 65%, and the Brugler500 index dropped 2 points to 367.
For the week ending June 4, U.S. soybean export shipments totaled 398,186 MT (14.63 million bushels), down 21.2% from the previous week and 28.8% below the same week last year. Egypt was the top destination at 118,598 MT, followed by China at 68,085 MT and Mexico at 63,603 MT. Marketing year-to-date exports for 2025/26 reached 36.06 MMT (1.324 billion bushels), 20.3% below the same period last year.
