अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गेहूं बाजार
★ सीबोट गेहूं बढ़त के साथ बंद।
★ अमरीका में 76% गेहूं फसल अच्छी।
★ 18 जुलाई वाले सप्ताह में अमरीका से 2.38 लाख टन गेहूं का हुआ निर्यात, जिसमें से मेक्सिको ने 0.78 लाख टन व जापान ने 0.47 लाख टन ख़रीदा।
★ चालू सीजन के पहले 1.5 महीने में अमरीका ने 26 लाख टन किया निर्यात, गत वर्ष से 20% अधिक।

भारतीय गेहूं बाजार
★ भारतीय बाजारों में गेहूं की कीमतों में मामूली उठा-पटक देखी जा रही है। सभी कर रहे हैं OMSS स्कीम के तहत गेहूं बिक्री का इन्तजार।
★ आई ग्रेन इंडिया का मानना है कि पहले लॉट में OMSS स्कीम के तहत 25 लाख टन गेहूं आवंटित किया जा सकता है।
★ छोटे ट्रेडर्स को 100 टन बड़े ट्रेडर्स को 200 टन बिक्री प्रति सप्ताह प्रति ट्रेडर्स की जाने की उम्मीद।
★ OMSS बिक्री शुरू होने से कीमतों पर कुछ समय के लिए बन सकता है दबाव परन्तु अच्छी बात यह है कि इस बार किराया-भाड़ा अतिरिक्त देना होगा, कुल मिलाकर यह साल गेहूं बाजारों के लिए रह सकता है दिलचस्प।

बजट से गेहूं जगत की उम्मीद
★ गेहूं निर्यात पर लगे प्रतिबन्ध को हटाया जाए, गेहूं उत्पाद जैसे कि आटा, मैदा, सूजी के निर्यात पर लगी लगाम भी हटे।
★ अगर ऐसा नहीं होता तो कम से कम 5 किलो पैकिंग में निर्यात की अनुमति दी जाए।
★ स्टॉक लिमिट को हटाया जाए ताकि बाजार सप्लाई व डिमांड पर चले।
★ कई संस्थाओं ने सरकार से गेहूं निर्यात व गेहूं आयात को भी साथ-साथ खोले जाने की बात कही ताकि दक्षिण भारत की मिलें विदेशों से गेहूं मंगा सके और उत्तर भारत की मिलें निर्यात कर सकें।
★ गेहूं उत्पादन बढ़ाने के लिए किसानों को नए बीज नई सिंचाई व्यवस्था, फ़र्टिलाइज़र की उपलब्धता के लिए अतिरिक्त बजट का आवंटन किया जाए।

International Wheat Market
★ CBOT wheat closed with gains.
★ 76% wheat crop in US is good.
★ In the week of July 18, 2.38 lakh tons of wheat was exported from US, out of which Mexico bought 0.78 lakh tons and Japan bought 0.47 lakh tons.
★ In the first 1.5 months of the current season, US exported 26 lakh tons, 20% more than last year.

Indian Wheat Market
★ In Indian markets, wheat prices are witnessing slight fluctuations. Everyone is waiting for wheat sale under OMSS scheme.
★ I Grain India believes that 25 lakh tons of wheat can be allotted under OMSS scheme in the first lot.
★ 100 tons to small traders and 200 tons to big traders are expected to be sold per trader per week.
★ With the start of OMSS sales, there may be pressure on prices for some time, but the good thing is that this time additional freight will have to be paid, overall this year can be interesting for wheat markets.

Wheat Industry expectations from the budget
★ The ban on wheat export should be lifted, the curb on export of wheat products such as flour, maida, semolina should also be lifted.
★ If this does not happen, then export should be allowed in at least 5 kg packing.
★ The stock limit should be removed so that the market runs on supply and demand.
★ Many organizations asked the government to open wheat export and wheat import simultaneously so that mills of South India can get wheat from abroad and mills of North India can export it.
★ To increase wheat production, additional budget should be allocated for the availability of new seeds, new irrigation system, fertilizers to farmers.
