अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मक्का बाजार
★ अमरीका में घटा मक्का से एथनोल का उत्पादन, एथनोल का स्टॉक भी हुआ कमजोर।
★ BAGE के अनुसार अर्जेंटीना में 470 लाख टन मक्का उत्पादन पहुंच सकता है जबकि USDA ने 510 लाख टन का दिया अनुमान।
★ अमरीका ने कल मेक्सिको को 1.8 लाख टन मक्का के निर्यात सौदे किये।

★ FICCI द्वारा दिल्ली में आयोजित 'MAIZE SUMMIT' में कहा गया कि भारत में मक्का से एथनोल उत्पादन में अच्छी वृद्धि।
★ बिहार में एथनोल प्लांट की संख्या 12 है, और नए प्लांट अभी बढ़ रहे हैं।
★ बिहार में स्टोरेज क्षमता 5 लाख टन है जिसे आगे बढाया जाएगा।
★ बिहार के मंत्री ने निवेशकों को मक्का में निवेश बढ़ाने के लिए कहा।
★ इसके अलावा केंद्र सरकार द्वारा प्राइवेट सेक्टर को उत्पादन बढ़ाने पर जोर देने को कहा।
★ भारत में 2023-24 के दौरान मक्का उत्पादन 376.7 लाख टन हुआ जो 2022-23 के 380.9 लाख टन से कम है।
★ 2023-24 में खरीफ मक्का का उत्पादन 222.5 (2022-23 में 236.7) लाख टन हुआ, रबी 2023-24 सीजन में उत्पादन 120 (2022-23 में 117) लाख टन हुआ था तथा जायद और ग्रीष्मकालीन मक्का का उत्पादन 2023-24 में 44 लाख टन हुआ था जो 2022-23 में 27.2 लाख टन था।
★ भारत में मक्का की प्रति हेक्टेयर उत्पादकता विश्व के कई देशों से बहुत कम।
★ बिहार के मंत्री मंगल पांडे ने कहा कि राज्य में आगामी सीजन में रिकॉर्ड 10 लाख हेक्टेयर में होगी मक्का बिजाई।

★ Ethanol production from maize decreased in America, ethanol stock also weakened.
★ According to BAGE, maize production in Argentina can reach 470 lakh tons while USDA has given an estimate of 510 lakh tons.
★ America made 1.8 lakh tons of maize export deals to Mexico yesterday.

★ In the 'MAIZE SUMMIT' organized by FICCI in Delhi, it was said that there has been a good increase in ethanol production from maize in India.
★ The number of ethanol plants in Bihar is 12, and new plants are being added now.
★ The storage capacity in Bihar is 5 lakh tons which will be increased further.
★ Bihar minister asked investors to increase investment in maize.
★ Apart from this, the central government asked the private sector to focus on increasing production.
★ Maize production in India during 2023-24 was 376.7 lakh tonnes, which is less than 380.9 lakh tonnes in 2022-23.
★ Kharif maize production in 2023-24 was 222.5 (236.7 in 2022-23) lakh tonnes, Rabi 2023-24 season production was 120 (117 in 2022-23) lakh tonnes and Zaid and Summer maize production was 44 lakh tonnes in 2023-24, which was 27.2 lakh tonnes in 2022-23.
★ The per hectare productivity of maize in India is much lower than many countries of the world.
★ Bihar Minister Mangal Pandey said that in the coming season, maize will be sown in a record 10 lakh hectares in the state.
