चना का वैश्विक उत्पादन 2023-24 के मुकाबले 2024-25 में 1.5% बढ़ने का अनुमान: IGC
★ इंटरनेशनल ग्रेन कौंसिल (IGC) के अनुसार 2024-25 सीजन के दौरान चना का पुराना स्टॉक 31 लाख टन, उत्पादन 170 लाख टन, उपलब्धता 201 लाख टन बताई गयी। 172 लाख टन की खपत के बाद सीजन के अंत में 29 लाख टन चना का स्टॉक बच सकता है।
★ 2023-24 में पुराना स्टॉक 37 लाख टन, उत्पादन 168 लाख टन, कुल सप्लाई 204 लाख टन व खपत 173 लाख टन बतायी गयी।
★ पिछले तीन वर्षों में विश्व में चना की सप्लाई में देखी गयी स्थिरता।
★ IGC के अनुसार 2022-23 में विश्व में चना की सप्लाई 209, 2023-24 में 204 व 2024-25 में 201 लाख टन बतायी गयी।
★ 2021-22 में कुल सप्लाई 189 लाख टन थी।

Global production of gram is estimated to increase by 1.5% in 2024-25 as compared to 2023-24: IGC
★ According to the International Grain Council (IGC), during the 2024-25 season, the old stock of gram was stated to be 31 lakh tonnes, production 170 lakh tonnes, availability 201 lakh tonnes. After the consumption of 172 lakh tonnes, a stock of 29 lakh tonnes of gram may remain at the end of the season.
★ In 2023-24, the old stock was stated to be 37 lakh tonnes, production 168 lakh tonnes, total supply 204 lakh tonnes and consumption 173 lakh tonnes.
★ Stability seen in the supply of gram in the world in the last three years.
★ According to IGC, the world supply of gram is said to be 209 lakh tonnes in 2022-23, 204 lakh tonnes in 2023-24 and 201 lakh tonnes in 2024-25.
★ The total supply in 2021-22 was 189 lakh tonnes.
