ICE cotton futures closed 91 to 96 points higher across most contracts on Wednesday. Crude oil futures were up 21 cents per barrel to $60.36, while the U.S. Dollar Index rose $0.502 to $98.955.
Some optimism was seen ahead of the Trump/Xi meeting extending into Thursday in South Korea.
The Tuesday online auction from The Seam showed 3,401 bales sold at an average price of 61.63 cents per pound. On October 28, the Cotlook A Index rose 35 points to 75.95 cents. ICE certified cotton stocks increased by another 500 bales on October 28, bringing total certified stocks to 18,052 bales.
