गेहूं आयात को लेकर सभी विशेषज्ञों की अलग-अलग राय
★ गत सप्ताह मुंबई में आयोजित व्हीट समिट में विशेषज्ञों की गेहूं आयात मामले में अलग अलग प्रतिक्रिया।
★ एक विशेष पैनल जो हमेशा आयात की पैरवी करता है ने इस बार भी गेहूं आयात खोले को कहा।
★ ऊंची कीमतों का हवाला देते हुए कहा गया कि अगर आयात नहीं खोला गया तो भाव 3000 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल से अधिक पहुंच सकते हैं।
★ गेहूं के भाव क्यों ऊंचे हैं इस पर शायद चर्चा ही नहीं हुई, जब ऊंचे भावों पर गेहूं ख़रीदा गया तो ज़ाहिर सी बात है कि ऊंची कीमतों पर ही बिकेगा।
★ इस मीटिंग में मुख्यतः बड़ी बड़ी कंपनियों के उच्च अधिकारी जो विशेषकर तेलों में काम करते हैं मौजूद थे।
★ इस समिट में भारत की किसी भी रोलर फ्लोर मिलर एसोसिएशन एवं अन्य विभिन्न-विभिन्न प्रदेशीय संस्थाएं मौजूद नहीं थी।
★ समिट में कहा गया कि 1 सितम्बर को केंद्रीय पूल में गेहूं का स्टॉक 251 लाख टन बचा जो गत वर्ष के मुकाबले 3.4% व गत माह से 6% कम।
★ कम स्टॉक व ऊंची कीमतों का हवाला देते हुए आयात खोले जाने के बात कही गयी परन्तु उन्हें ये समझना चाहिए कि आयात खोले जाने के बाद कारोबारियों के साथ-साथ किसानों का क्या होगा।
★ सरकार को मालूम है कि गेहूं का अच्छा उत्पादन हुआ, किसानों व प्राइवेट व्यापारियों के पास भी स्टॉक उपलब्ध।
★ OMSS स्कीम में हो रही देरी से यही लगता है कि सरकार चाहती है कि पहले प्राइवेट में पड़ा गेहूं बाहर आये।

★ Citing high prices, it was said that if imports are not opened, the prices can reach more than Rs 3000 per quintal.
★ There was probably no discussion on why wheat prices are high, when wheat is bought at high prices, it is obvious that it will be sold at high prices.
★ In this meeting, mainly high officials of big companies who work especially in oils were present.
★ No Roller Floor Miller Association of India and various other state organizations were present in this summit.
★ It was said in the summit that on September 1, the stock of wheat left in the central pool was 251 lakh tonnes, which is 3.4% less than last year and 6% less than last month.
★ Citing low stock and high prices, it was said that imports should be opened but they should understand what will happen to the traders as well as farmers after opening the imports.
★ The government knows that wheat production was good, farmers and private traders also have stock available.
★ The delay in the OMSS scheme seems to indicate that the government wants the wheat lying in private hands to come out first.
