KLCE CPO Weekly Report (April 28 – May 2, 2025)
★ CPO prices saw a consistent decline throughout the week.
★ The May contract opened at 4136 on April 28 and closed at 3920 on May 2, marking a total drop of 216 points.
★ The June contract started at 4054 and ended at 3906, falling by 148 points.
★ The July contract opened at 4024 and closed at 3880, showing a decline of 144 points.
★ The primary reason behind this fall is the weak availability of palm oil exports.

CBOT & ICE Canola Weekly Report (April 28 – May 2, 2025)
Soya Oil
★ Soya oil prices showed slight fluctuations.
★ The May contract began at 49.26 and ended the week at 49.08.
★ July and August contracts also witnessed a similar mild decline.
Soyameal
★ Soyameal prices first rose and then declined.
★ The May contract opened at 286.9 and closed at 290.2.
★ July and August contracts also showed recovery after early weakness.
Soybean
★ Soybean prices were volatile during the week.
★ The May contract started at 1040 and ended at 1052.
★ Other contracts also recorded modest gains.
ICE Canola
★ Canola prices were highly volatile throughout the week.
★ The May contract opened at 693.4 and closed slightly lower at 693.3.
★ July and November contracts saw a small decline followed by a marginal recovery.
NYMEX Crude
★ Crude oil prices dropped initially and then rebounded.
★ The May contract opened at 63.12 and ended the week at 78.11.
★ The USD/INR exchange rate fell from 85.21 to 84.47 during the same period.
