Lentil cultivation in Canada will begin in April, and the new crop will arrive in August-September, but new contracts for its purchase and sale have already begun.
Under these contracts, the prices of green and red lentils are being determined based on quality and grade. The number of deals is expected to increase in the coming period. There may be some fluctuations in the total area planted with lentils.
