★ मलेशिया के प्लान्टेशन एंड कमोडिटीज मंत्री ने IVPA ग्लोबल राउंड टेबल @ 3.0 में कहा कि मलेशिया में पाम की री-प्लान्टेशन (पुनर्रोपण) गति धीमी।

★ मंत्री ने कहा कि री-प्लान्टेशन 4-5% होनी चाहिए जो अभी 1.8% है।

★ री-प्लान्टेशन मतलब पुराने पेड़ों को हटाना व नए पेड़ों को लगाना।

★ अगर री-प्लान्टेशन 4-5% बढ़ती है तो उत्पादन 25 लाख टन अधिक पहुंच सकता है।

★ पेड़ों की उम्र अधिक होने के कारण उत्पादकता पर पड़ रहा है असर।

★ 2023 में पाम तेल का उत्पादन मलेशिया में 146 लाख टन रहा जो एक दशक पहले 200 लाख टन था।

★ Malaysia's Plantation and Commodities Minister said in IVPA Global Round Table @ 3.0 that the pace of re-plantation of palm in Malaysia is slow.

★ The minister said that re-plantation should be 4-5% which is currently 1.8%.

★ Re-plantation means removing old trees and planting new trees.

★ If re-plantation increases by 4-5% then production can reach 25 lakh tonnes more.

★ Productivity is being affected due to the old age of the trees.

★ In 2023, the production of palm oil in Malaysia was 146 lakh tonnes which was 200 lakh tonnes a decade ago.
