Optimism continues ahead of the Trump-Xi meeting this week, although few details from the weekend’s trade talks have been revealed.
Traders estimate that about 84% of the soybean crop had been harvested as of October 26. The Crop Progress report was not released due to the government shutdown.
According to ANEC, Brazil’s soybean exports are estimated at 7 million metric tons in October, a decrease of 0.34 million metric tons from last week’s estimate.
