The USDA will update Export Sales data Thursday morning. According to analysts surveyed by Reuters, 2026/27 soybean sales for the week ending last Thursday are expected to range between 0.9 and 2.4 million metric tons.
Soybean meal bookings are expected to range between 150,000 and 650,000 metric tons in total. Soybean oil sales are expected to range from net cancellations of 10,000 metric tons to combined sales of 10,000 metric tons.
According to StatsCan data, Canada’s 2026/27 canola crop is estimated at 22.05 million metric tons, down 0.8% from last year. Soybean production is estimated to increase 7.8% to 7.456 million metric tons.
