बांग्लादेश में गेहूं आयात गत सीजन से कम होने की सम्भावना: USDA रिपोर्ट
★ USDA की जुलाई 2024 रिपोर्ट के अनुसार बांग्लादेश में गेहूं का पुराना स्टॉक 11.83 लाख टन, उत्पादन 11 लाख टन, आयात 66 लाख टन के बाद 88.83 लाख टन गेहूं की उपलब्धता रह सकती है। 77.80 लाख टन की घरेलू खपत के बाद सीजन के अंत में 11 लाख टन गेहूं का स्टॉक बच सकता है।
★ 2022-23 के अंत में बांग्लादेश में गेहूं का बकाया स्टॉक 8.33 लाख टन व 2023-24 में 11.83 लाख टन था।

★ अमरीकन पोर्ट से 29 अगस्त 2024 को 5.77 लाख टन गेहूं की निर्यात इंस्पेक्शन की गयी जिसमें से मेक्सिको ने 1.35 लाख टन व फिलिपीन्स ने 1.12 लाख टन खरीद की।
★ चालू सीजन में अब तक 57.37 लाख टन गेहूं का हुआ निर्यात गत वर्ष की समानअवधि से 32% अधिक।
★ ABARES ऑस्ट्रेलिया में गेहूं उत्पादन 318 लाख टन पहुंचने की उम्मीद, गत अनुमान से 27 लाख टन अधिक।

Wheat imports in Bangladesh likely to be lower than last season: USDA report
★ According to the July 2024 report of USDA, after the old stock of wheat in Bangladesh is 11.83 lakh tonnes, production is 11 lakh tonnes, import is 66 lakh tonnes, there may be availability of 88.83 lakh tonnes of wheat. After domestic consumption of 77.80 lakh tonnes, 11 lakh tonnes of wheat stock may remain at the end of the season.
★ At the end of 2022-23, the outstanding stock of wheat in Bangladesh was 8.33 lakh tonnes and in 2023-24 it was 11.83 lakh tonnes.

★ On August 29, 2024, 5.77 lakh tonnes of wheat export inspection was done from American Port, out of which Mexico purchased 1.35 lakh tonnes and Philippines purchased 1.12 lakh tonnes.
★ In the current season so far 57.37 lakh tons of wheat has been exported which is 32% more than the same period last year.
★ ABARES Wheat production in Australia is expected to reach 318 lakh tons, 27 lakh tons more than the previous estimate.
