भारतीय कपास उत्पादन 2023-24 में 318 लाख बेल्स: CAI
★ कॉटन एसोसिएशन ऑफ़ इंडिया (CAI) के अनुसार पंजाब, हरियाणा, राजस्थान में कपास का उत्पादन 46 लाख बेल्स (गत सीजन से 3 लाख बेल्स अधिक) पहुंच सकता है।
★ 30 जून तक उत्तरी संभाग में 45 लाख बेल्स कपास की आवक दर्ज की गयी।
★ महाराष्ट्र, गुजरात, मध्य प्रदेश में 193 लाख बेल्स कपास उत्पादन का दिया अनुमान, गत सीजन के 195 लाख बेल्स से 2 लाख बेल्स कम।
★ 30 जून तक इस संभाग में 189 लाख बेल्स आवक दर्ज की गयी।
★ दक्षिण जोन में उत्पादन गत वर्ष के 75 लाख बेल्स से 2 लाख बेल्स घटकर 73 लाख बेल्स का दिया अनुमान।
★ 30 जून तक इस क्षेत्र में 67 लाख बेल्स आवक दर्ज की गयी।
★ अक्टूबर की शुरुआत में ओपनिंग स्टॉक 29 लाख बेल्स और 318 लाख बेल्स उत्पादन के बाद उपलब्धता 363 लाख बेल्स बतायी गयी जो गत सीजन में 355 लाख बेल्स थी।
★ आयात 2023-24 में 16.4 लाख बेल्स का अनुमान दिया गया, 2022-23 के 12.5 लाख बेल्स से अधिक।
★ 2023-24 में घरेलू डिमांड 317 लाख बेल्स पहुंच सकती है, गत सीजन से 6 लाख बेल्स अधिक।
★ निर्यात 26 लाख बेल्स बताया गया, 2022-23 से 10 लाख बेल्स अधिक।
★ 30 जून तक 246 लाख बेल्स खपत हो चुकी है।

Indian cotton production to reach 318 lakh bales in 2023-24: CAI
★ According to the Cotton Association of India (CAI), cotton production in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan can reach 46 lakh bales (3 lakh bales more than last season).
★ Till June 30, 45 lakh bales of cotton were recorded in the Northern Division.
★ 193 lakh bales of cotton production has been estimated in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, 2 lakh bales less than 195 lakh bales last season.
★ Till June 30, 189 lakh bales were recorded in this division.
★ Production in the South Zone has been estimated to be 73 lakh bales, down by 2 lakh bales from 75 lakh bales last year.
★ Till June 30, 67 lakh bales were recorded in this region.
★ Opening stock at the beginning of October was 29 lakh bales and after production of 318 lakh bales, availability was reported to be 363 lakh bales as against 355 lakh bales last season.
★ Imports are estimated at 16.4 lakh bales in 2023-24, up from 12.5 lakh bales in 2022-23.
★ Domestic demand may reach 317 lakh bales in 2023-24, 6 lakh bales more than last season.
★ Exports are reported to be 26 lakh bales, 10 lakh bales more than 2022-23.
★ 246 lakh bales have been consumed till June 30.
