Bullish Trend in Chana
★ Yesterday, Delhi chana rose by Rs. 120 to reach Rs. 6,450 per quintal, Mumbai Tanzania chana increased by Rs. 50 to Rs. 6,125, and Mumbai Australian chana reached Rs. 6,275 per quintal.
★ Compared to June, Delhi chana has gained Rs. 675 so far in July and Rs. 600 compared to May.
★ Tanzania chana increased by Rs. 475 from May to July and by Rs. 625 from June, with Australian chana rising in a similar proportion.
★ In local mandis, Latur chana has risen by Rs. 150 compared to May and Rs. 350 compared to June.
★ In Delhi’s Lawrence Road market today, the arrival of chana was around 8–9 trucks.
★ No price changes were quoted today; rates will be provided after trading.
★ According to iGrain India, several factors are driving the bullish trend in Delhi chana prices, such as:
1. Decline in imports from Australia
2. Festive demand for chana and besan in domestic markets
3  Clearance of port-held stocks
★ Considering the upcoming festive demand, further price increases in chana are expected.
