Chhattisgarh – Once again, paddy will be procured at a rate higher than the MSP.
More than 25 lakh farmers in the state will get ₹3,100 per quintal for paddy.
Procurement will begin on November 15, 2025, and continue until January 31, 2026.
The purchase limit is 21 quintals per acre.
Payment will be made directly into farmers’ bank accounts within 6 to 7 days.
Committees will receive an incentive of ₹5 per quintal for zero moisture.
Adequate arrangements have been made for new and old jute sacks.
This year, the MSP for common paddy is ₹2,369 per quintal, compared to ₹2,300 per quintal last year.
The difference between last year’s MSP and the bonus was ₹800 per quintal, which has now reduced to ₹731 per quintal.
Last year too, paddy was procured at ₹3,100 per quintal, but due to the increase in MSP this year, the gap has narrowed.
