The final Crop Progress report indicates that 96% of the U.S. corn harvest has been completed this year, slightly behind the 5–year average of 97%.
USDA reported corn export shipments of 1.63 MMT (64.26 million bushels) for the week ending November 20. That was 20.98% below the previous week, but 61.78% higher compared to the same week last year. Mexico was the largest buyer with 624,332 tons, followed by Japan with 284,704 tons and South Korea with 137,136 tons.
Since September 1, total exports for the 2025/26 marketing year have reached 17.483 MMT (688.27 million bushels), showing a strong increase of 72% from last year.
Export Sales data for the week of 10/9 will be released Tuesday morning, with expectations of 0.9–2.5 MMT in corn sales.
Brazil’s first corn crop planting in the Center-South region reached 93% as of Thursday, still behind last year’s 95% pace, according to AgRural.
