According to USDA, corn export shipments for the week ending October 9 totaled 1.129 MMT (44.47 million bushels). This was 119.74% higher than the same week last year but 33.61% lower than the previous week.
Mexico was the top destination with 299,156 MT, followed by Colombia with 202,680 MT and South Korea with 140,416 MT.
Since September 1, total corn exports for the 2025/26 marketing year have reached 7.94 MMT (312.59 million bushels), which is 64.97% higher than the same period last year.
Taiwan has issued a tender to purchase up to 65,000 MT of corn, with bids due by Wednesday.
In its latest report, CONAB raised its 2025/26 Brazilian corn production estimate by 0.32 MMT to 138.6 MMT. ANEC estimated Brazil’s October corn exports at 6.46 MMT, up 0.4 MMT from last week’s projection.
