The weather pattern for the upcoming week remains wet from the Dakotas and Iowa to the Eastern Corn Belt.
According to USDA, for the week ending July 10, old crop corn export sales were net 97,600 metric tons, marking the lowest level of the marketing year and well below trade expectations (500,000 to 1.2 million metric tons). New crop sales were estimated between 400,000 and 900,000 metric tons, while USDA reported 565,900 metric tons during the holiday-shortened week.
