According to the USDA, soybean export commitments totaled 25.778 MMT as of December 11, down 33% from the same period last year. This is 58% of the USDA’s export projection and lags the 79% average sales pace.
Buenos Aires Grains Exchange data show soybean planting at 75.5% complete, below the average pace. Crop condition ratings are pegged at 67% good/excellent, which is 5 points higher than last year.
