USDA reported a private export sale of 100,000 MT of HRW wheat to Nigeria this morning for the current marketing year.
Export sales data showed 592,119 MT of wheat sold in the week ending July 24, within the trade estimates of 300,000 to 700,000 MT. While lower than the prior week, it was still the second-largest total for the marketing year. Unknown destinations were the top buyer at 196,600 MT, with 82,000 MT sold to the Philippines.
Late Wednesday, President Trump announced a trade deal with South Korea, setting the US tariff on South Korean goods at 15%. The US and Mexico also agreed to extend the tariff pause for another 90 days.
