According to NOAA’s 7-day forecast, very little precipitation is expected across the Southern Plains over the next week, with only light rainfall indicated in the SRW areas.
USDA’s Export Sales report will be released on Thursday morning. Traders are expecting 2025/26 wheat bookings in the range of 100,000 to 450,000 metric tons for the week ending January 8. Sales for the 2026/27 season are estimated at 0 to 50,000 metric tons.
FranceAgriMer estimates French soft wheat ending stocks at 2.8 million metric tons, slightly higher than last month’s estimate.
