केंद्र ने NCCF को 5 राज्यों में धान खरीद करने को कहा
★ NCCF द्वारा यह खरीद 1 अक्टूबर से आंध्र प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़, मध्य प्रदेश, उत्तर प्रदेश, उड़ीसा से की जानी है।
★ 5 राज्यों से 2023-24 खरीफ सीजन में 201.2 लाख टन चावल की खरीद की गयी थी, जिसमें आंध्र प्रदेश की मात्रा 14.4, छत्तीसगढ़ की 83, मध्य प्रदेश की 28.3, उत्तर प्रदेश की 36, उड़ीसा की 39.5 लाख टन थी।

चावल अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व भारतीय बाजार
★ अभी हाल ही में गैर बासमती वाइट राइस के निर्यात पर 490$/टन की MEP लगाई गयी तथा आयात शुल्क को 20% घटकर 10% किया गया।
★ विश्व में गैर बासमती प्रीमियम वेरायटी गोविन्दो भोग सोना मंसूरी की कीमतें 600$/टन के आसपास।
★ इस खबर के बाद थाईलैंड 100% प्रीमियम पारबॉयल्ड राइस के भाव 583$/टन के नीचे आये जो 4 सितम्बर को 660$/टन थे यानी कीमतों में 4-5% की गिरावट देखी गयी।
★ भारतीय पारबॉयल्ड राइस 20% शुल्क के बाद 570-600$/टन बैठ रहा था जो अब घटेगा।
★ गत वित्त वर्ष में 223.3 लाख टन निर्यात में से बासमती चावल मात्रा 45.5 लाख टन व गैर बासमती चावल की 177.8 लाख टन थी।
★ 490$/टन की MEP जो 2747 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल बैठती है MSP 2300 रुपए से अधिक।

The Center asked NCCF to buy paddy in 5 states
★ This purchase is to be done by NCCF from Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha from October 1.
★ 201.2 lakh tonnes of rice was procured from 5 states in the 2023-24 Kharif season, in which the quantity of Andhra Pradesh was 14.4, Chhattisgarh 83, Madhya Pradesh 28.3, Uttar Pradesh 36, Odisha 39.5 lakh tonnes.

Rice International and Indian Market
★ Recently, MEP of 490 $ / ton was imposed on the export of non-Basmati white rice and the import duty was reduced by 20% to 10%.
★ The prices of non-Basmati premium variety Govindo Bhog Sona Mansuri in the world are around 600 $ / ton.
★ After this news, the price of Thailand 100% premium parboiled rice came down to 583$/ton which was 660$/ton on 4th September i.e. a fall of 4-5% was observed in the prices.
★ Indian parboiled rice was sitting at 570-600$/ton after 20% duty which will decrease now.
★ Out of 223.3 lakh tons export in the last financial year, the quantity of Basmati rice was 45.5 lakh tons and that of non-Basmati rice was 177.8 lakh tons.
★ MEP of 490$/ton which comes to Rs. 2747 per quintal is more than MSP of Rs. 2300.
