केंद्र और पंजाब सरकार के बीच धान खरीद को ले कर हुई चर्चा

★ पंजाब में धान की खरीद 1 अक्टूबर, 2024 से शुरू हो गई है और यह सुचारू रूप से चल रही है।

★ पिछले वर्ष खरीफ विपणन सीजन 2023-24 में पंजाब से 124.14 लाख मीट्रिक टन चावल की खरीद का अनुमान लगाया गया था, जिसे 100% हासिल किया गया।

★ इस वर्ष खरीफ विपणन सीजन 2024-25 के लिए केंद्र ने पहले ही पंजाब से 124 लाख टन चावल की अनुमानित खरीद को मंजूरी दे दी है, जो 185 लाख टन धान के बराबर है।

★ पंजाब में 13.10.2024 तक लगभग 7 लाख टन धान की कुल आवक में से लगभग 6  लाख टन की खरीद पहले ही केंद्रीय पूल के लिए की जा चुकी है, यह खरीद 30.11.2024 तक चलनी है। 

★ जानकारी के लिए बता दें कि पंजाब में धान की घटी कीमतों से किसानों ने रेल रोको अभियान चालू किया। पिछले वर्ष के मुकाबले धान के भाव कम।

★ पंजाब के अलावा अन्य किसी राज्य से किसानों द्वारा इस तरह की घटना रिपोर्ट नहीं हुईं।

Discussion held between the Center and Punjab Government regarding paddy procurement.

★ Procurement of paddy in Punjab has started from October 1, 2024 and it is going on smoothly.

★ Last year, in Kharif Marketing Season 2023-24, procurement of 124.14 lakh metric tonnes of rice was estimated from Punjab, which was achieved 100%.

★ This year for Kharif Marketing Season 2024-25, the Center has already approved the estimated procurement of 124 lakh tonnes of rice from Punjab, which is equivalent to 185 lakh tonnes of paddy.

★ Out of the total arrival of about 7 lakh tonnes of paddy in Punjab till 13.10.2024, about 6 lakh tonnes have already been procured for the Central Pool, this procurement is to continue till 30.11.2024.

★ For information, let us tell you that due to the reduced prices of paddy in Punjab, farmers started Rail Roko Abhiyan. Price of paddy is less as compared to last year.

★ Apart from Punjab, no such incident was reported by farmers from any other state.
