लगातार दूसरे वर्ष भी नहीं हुई पंजाब से ग्रीष्मकालीन मूंग की सरकारी खरीद
★ किसान औने-पौने भाव पर मूंग बेचने पर हुए थे मजबूर।
★ ग्रीष्कालीन सीजन में पंजाब में मूंग MSP 8,555 रुपए/क्विंटल से करीब 800 रुपए नीचे बेचीं गई।
★ फसल विवधिकरण (क्रॉप डायवर्सिफिकेशन) के तहत सरकार ने किसानों को अन्य फसल उगाने को कहा था और यह भी कहा गया था से सम्पूर्ण फसल सरकार द्वारा खरीदी जाएगी।
★ 3 वर्ष पहले की गई घोषणा में केवल पहले वर्ष ही की गई थी खरीद, परन्तु पिछले 2 वर्षों से नहीं हो रही खरीद।
★ लगातार दूसरे वर्ष खरीद न होने और कम भावों पर फसल बेचने से भविष्य में किसानों का रुझान मूंग से घट सकता है।

Government did not buy summer moong from Punjab for the second consecutive year
★ Farmers were forced to sell moong at very low prices.
★ In the summer season, moong was sold in Punjab at about Rs 800 below the MSP of Rs 8,555/quintal.
★ Under crop diversification, the government had asked farmers to grow other crops and it was also said that the entire crop will be bought by the government.
★ In the announcement made 3 years ago, purchase was done only in the first year, but there has been no purchase for the last 2 years.
★ Due to no purchase for the second consecutive year and selling the crop at low prices, farmers' interest in moong may decrease in future.
