★ ऊंची कीमतों को देख इस वर्ष हल्दी की बिजाई गत वर्ष से 35% बढ़ी।
★ बारिश से तेलंगाना, आंध्र प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र में 10% फसल को नुकसान पहुंचने की उम्मीद।
★ निर्यात अप्रैल से जुलाई तक गत वर्ष से 70% घटकर 16,962.47 टन पहुंचा।

★ अप्रैल से जुलाई तक आयात 42.4% घटकर 3,000 टन में सिमटा।
★ भारत में हल्दी उत्पादन 2023-24 में 10.2 लाख टन, 2022-23 में 11.7 लाख टन, 2021-22 में 12.21 लाख टन, 2020-21 में 11.35 लाख टन बताया गया। महाराष्ट्र में उत्पादन 2023-24 में 3.3 लाख टन, 2022-23 में 3.23, 2021-22 में 3.67 लाख टन, 2020-21 में 2.3 लाख टन, तेलंगाना में 2023-24 में 1.13, 2022-23 में 1.73, 2021-22 में 2.16, 2020-21 में 3.2, कर्नाटक में 2023-24 में 1.01, 2022-23 में 1.2, 2021-22 में 1.1, 2020-21 में 1.31 लाख टन बताया गया।
★ आगामी सीजन में उत्पादन घटने और निर्यात मांग बनी रहने से कीमतों में तेजी की प्रबल सम्भावना।

★ Area increased by 30-35% in Maharashtra. Open interest is also increasing.
★ Imports fell by 42.4% to 3,000 tonnes from April to July.
★ Turmeric production in India was reported to be 10.2 lakh tonnes in 2023-24, 11.7 lakh tonnes in 2022-23, 12.21 lakh tonnes in 2021-22, 11.35 lakh tonnes in 2020-21. Production in Maharashtra is reported to be 3.3 lakh tonnes in 2023-24, 3.23 in 2022-23, 3.67 lakh tonnes in 2021-22, 2.3 lakh tonnes in 2020-21, in Telangana 1.13 in 2023-24, 1.73 in 2022-23, 2.16 in 2021-22, 3.2 in 2020-21, in Karnataka 1.01 in 2023-24, 1.2 in 2022-23, 1.1 in 2021-22, 1.31 lakh tonnes in 2020-21.
★ There is a strong possibility of increase in prices due to decrease in production and continued export demand in the upcoming season.
