News Capsule: U.S. Wheat Exports Increase
★ According to the USDA, about 20.2 million tonnes of wheat have been exported from the U.S. so far this season. This is 18% higher than the same period last year and has reached 82% of the USDA’s projected target.
★ The European Commission reported that from 1 July to 4 January, 11.2 million tonnes of wheat were exported, which is 0.17 million tonnes lower than last year.
