Ahead of Thursday’s USDA Agricultural Outlook Forum, the trade expects the Office of the Chief Economist to project soybean acreage at 85 million acres. If realized, that would be an increase of 3.8 million acres from last year. Production is estimated at 4.43 billion bushels, up 168 million bushels compared to the 2025 crop.
ANEC estimates Brazil’s February soybean exports at 11.46 MMT, down 0.25 MMT from last week’s figure. However, this would still be approximately 5 MMT higher than the same period last year.
