Tanzania port situation gradually stabilizing
★ Operations at the main port in Dar es Salaam have been gradually resuming since November 4.
★ All port operations were suspended from October 30 to November 1.
★ Tanzania imports sugar, rice, and spices from India, and exports raw cashew, cloves, spices, pigeon peas, chickpeas, sesame, and nuts to India.
★ The port closure had delayed these imports and exports, which now appear to be returning to normal.
