New Delhi: A two-day Rabi oilseeds and edible oils seminar has been scheduled for March 14-15, 2026, in Bharatpur, a major trading center in Rajasthan, one of the country's leading mustard-producing states.
This important and useful seminar will be organized by the Mustard Oil Processors Association (MOPA) under the aegis of the Central Organisation for Oil Industry and Trade (COOIT), the apex body of the indigenous vegetable oil industry and trade sector.
Representatives from all parts of the country will participate. It is worth noting that this seminar was also held in Bharatpur in 2022 and was highly successful and memorable. This year's event is expected to be even better.
The Rabi Oilseeds Seminar, 2026, will feature detailed discussions on topics related to domestic production of oilseed crops, edible oil stocks, potential imports, market prices, consumption, and trade, with mustard being the central focus.
Sowing of mustard and other Rabi oilseed crops has been completed in Rajasthan and other leading producing states, and the area under cultivation is higher than last year.
By mid-March, when the seminar is held, the harvesting of mustard and other Rabi oilseed crops will be in full swing, making it easier to estimate production.
