The government has begun its procurement of various Kharif crops in Bundelkhand, Uttar Pradesh, starting today. This includes urad, moong, and peanuts at the Minimum Support Prices (MSP) set for the region. The MSPs are as follows:
Urad: Rs. 7,400 per quintal
Moong: Rs. 8,682 per quintal
Peanuts: Rs. 6,783 per quintal
Currently, the government is procuring Kharif crops across multiple states, including moong, paddy, peanuts, soya, and urad. This procurement initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to ensure farmers get fair prices for their crops and to stabilize market prices.
