USDA Report November 2025 – Rice
★ The USDA has lowered its estimate for global rice production in 2025–26 by 4 lakh tonnes, bringing it down to 7,291 lakh tonnes. Production declines in Pakistan and Senegal have driven this reduction.
★ Global rice trade is now estimated higher at 629 lakh tonnes, while global consumption has risen to a record 5,424 lakh tonnes. Ending stocks are projected at 1,867 lakh tonnes.
★ For India, the USDA has kept its estimates unchanged for rice production, consumption, exports, and ending stocks.
