विश्व में गेहूं का उत्पादन बढ़ने की सम्भावना: IGC
★ इंटरनेशनल ग्रेन कौंसिल (IGC) के अनुसार 2024-25 में विश्व में गेहूं का उत्पादन 7990 लाख टन पहुंचने की उम्मीद। 2023-24 में उत्पादन 7940 लाख टन था।
★ 2024-25 में ट्रेडिंग (आयात-निर्यात) 1960 (2023-24 में 2140) लाख टन, 2024-25 में खपत 8030 (2023-24 में 8050) लाख टन के बाद 2024-25 सीजन के अंत में 2660 लाख टन गेहूं का स्टॉक बच सकता है, बीते सीजन 2023-24 में गेहूं का स्टॉक 2700 लाख टन बताया गया।
★ 2024-25 व 2023-24 में गेहूं का स्टॉक 2022-23 के 2810 लाख टन से कम रह सकता है।

Wheat production likely to increase in the world: IGC
★ According to the International Grain Council (IGC), the world wheat production is expected to reach 7990 lakh tonnes in 2024-25. Production in 2023-24 was 7940 lakh tonnes.
★ Trading (import-export) in 2024-25 is 1960 (2140 in 2023-24) lakh tonnes, consumption in 2024-25 is 8030 (8050 in 2023-24) lakh tonnes, after which there may be a stock of 2660 lakh tonnes of wheat left at the end of the 2024-25 season, in the last season 2023-24 the stock of wheat was reported to be 2700 lakh tonnes.
★ Wheat stock in 2024-25 and 2023-24 may be less than 2810 lakh tonnes in 2022-23.
