Mixed trend in gram due to slow buying
New Delhi. During the current week, both buying and selling remained calm in the gram market, due to which there was a slight increase or decrease in prices. Due to weak demand in the pulses segment, the purchases from the dal millers were also limited, which kept the pressure on the rising prices of gram. Currently, the arrival of gram from the producing markets is weakening, while the stock at the port is also limited. Apart from this, stockists are also refraining from selling at reduced prices. Considering all these factors, the possibility of a decline in the prices of gram from here is very low. If the demand improves or the arrival decreases further, then there is a possibility of further strengthening of prices. Due to limited buying by dal millers, the prices of Delhi gram saw a rise and fall of Rs 50/75 per quintal this week and with this rise and fall, the prices became Madhya Pradesh line Rs 6300 and Rajasthan line Rs 6350 per quintal at the end of the week.
