Decline in Moong prices continues due to increased availability and weak buying

New Delhi. Decline in Moong prices continued during the current week due to increased availability and sluggish buying. Due to unfavourable sales in Moong dal, buying by dal millers has remained weak, due to which pressure is being seen on prices. Due to sluggish demand from stockists and dal millers, Delhi Moong prices declined by Rs 200 per quintal in the current week and the price remained at Rs 7200/7800 per quintal.
Rajasthan
Due to increased availability and weak demand from stockists, prices of moong in Rajasthan markets witnessed a decline of Rs. 200/500 per quintal during the current week and the prices at the weekend remained at Jodhpur Rs. 6000/7500, Jaipur Rs. 7100/7800, Sumerpur Rs. 5500/7000, Nagaur Rs. 7200/7750, Merta Rs. 6000/8000 and Kishangarh Rs. 5000/7300 per quintal.
Madhya Pradesh
Due to sluggish demand, prices of Madhya Pradesh moong declined by Rs. 100/200 per quintal during the current week and the prices remained at Rs. 6000/8000 for Pipariya, Rs. 7500/8100 for Indore, Rs. 6800/8219 for Kareli and Rs. 6500/7600 per quintal for Jabalpur.
Karnataka
Due to weak buying by dal millers, prices of Karnataka moong declined by Rs. 100/200 per quintal during the current week and the prices remained at Rs. 5700/7200 for Gulbarga, Rs. 5661/8000 for Bidar, Rs. 5661/7256 for Hubli, Rs. 7079/7859 for Yadgir and Rs. 6155/8351 per quintal at Gadag.
Maharashtra
Due to weak demand from dal millers, Maharashtra moong prices declined by Rs. 200/300 per quintal during the current week and at the end of the week, the prices remained at Rs. 6000/8200 for Latur, Rs. 6350/9700 for Akola, Rs. 7000/8100 for Barshi, Rs. 6500/8000 for Ahmednagar and Rs. 6500/8300 per quintal for Dudhni.
Others
Due to the impact of all-round decline and weak demand, Lalitpur moong prices declined by Rs. 500 per quintal this week and with this decline, the price remained at Rs. 5800/6700 per quintal at the end of the week. Moong Dal
Due to sluggish demand, prices of Moong Dal declined by Rs. 200/250 per quintal during the current week and the prices remained at Delhi Rs. 9800/12400, Jodhpur Rs. 9400/9700, Jaipur Rs. 9300/9600, Bhatapara Rs. 10600, Jalgaon Rs. 10300 and Indore Rs. 9400/10500 per quintal.
