Commitment of Traders (COT) data released this afternoon showed managed money trimming 1,853 contracts from their net short position in CBT wheat futures and options for the week of October 7, bringing it to 97,356 contracts. In KC wheat, they added 9,661 contracts, increasing the net short position to 63,534 contracts.
According to FranceAgriMer data, 98% of the country’s soft wheat crop is rated in good/excellent condition, and 95% of the crop has been planted.
