Due to Columbus Day (despite the shutdown), all federal offices are closed, so the Export Inspections report will now be released on Tuesday. A Reuters analysts’ survey suggests winter wheat planting is about 66% complete, though there will be no Crop Progress report this week.
Saudi Arabia purchased 500,000 MT of wheat from foreign suppliers. Algeria also issued a tender for 50,000 MT of durum wheat, with a deadline of October 15.
