The upcoming week is expected to remain on the drier side for much of the Plains and HRW wheat region, which is not favorable for the crop as ratings are already declining. Meanwhile, some SRW wheat areas, particularly parts of the Eastern Corn Belt, are expected to see wetter conditions.
European Commission data showed wheat exports at 17.14 MMT from July 1 to March 22, up from 16.13 MMT in the same period last year. SovEcon has estimated Russian wheat exports for the current marketing year at 46.5 MMT, which is 1.1 MMT higher than the previous estimate. Algeria has issued a wheat tender, with offers due on Thursday.
