ICE cotton futures were 15 to 46 points higher on Tuesday. The US dollar index rose by $0.310 to 99.035. Crude oil prices closed 26 cents higher despite late-session pressure, following reports of a potential one-month ceasefire in the Middle East conflict.
On March 23, the Seam platform recorded sales of 4,911 bales at an average price of 66.47 cents per pound. The Cotlook A Index fell 40 points on Monday to 77.85 cents. ICE certified cotton stocks remained unchanged at 115,640 bales on March 23. The Adjusted World Price was increased by 2.72 cents to 54.22 cents per pound last Thursday.
