2024/2025 Brazil Soybean Estimate Steady at 169 Million Tons
★ Soybean harvesting in Brazil is nearly complete.  
★ As of last week, 89% of soybeans had been harvested in Brazil, compared to 85% at the same time last year and the 5-year average of 88.9%.  
★ Last week ended with China purchasing more than 60 vessels of soybeans from Brazil — a record for this time of year.  
★ Due to the ongoing U.S.-China trade tensions, China is now relying on Brazil for most of its soybean imports.  
★ Soybean exports in April 2025 are expected to set a new record, surpassing the previous high of 13.5 million tons in April 2024.  
★ In the first week of April, Brazilian farmers sold 4.5 million tons of soybeans, and an additional 10 million tons are expected to be sold by the end of the month.

2024/2025 Argentina Soybean Harvest
★ So far, 2.6% of soybeans have been harvested, compared to 10.6% at the same time last year and a historical average of 3%.  
★ Production is expected to reach 48 million tons.
