About 12 thousand meters of adulterated edible oil seized in Rajasthan

Jaipur . As part of the ongoing large-scale campaign against adulteration in Rajasthan, the largest producer of mustard, the second largest producer of groundnut and the third largest producer of soybean,

last week a stock of more than 12 thousand liters of edible oil was seized in which or So there was adulteration of external elements or whose quality was not in accordance with the prescribed human standard. 

According to the Commissioner of Food Safety and Drug Control, the stock of edible oils was caught by doing recce on the basis of intelligence information.

Under this, 6683 liters of edible oil stock has been seized in Muhana Mandi area and 6 thousand liters of edible oil stock has been seized in Niwai.

It is understood that when the sample of edible oil stock seized in Muhana Mandi area was tested, its quality was found to be of poor quality.

Earlier too, a sample of edible oil of that firm was taken which did not meet human standards. A sample of the seized edible oil has been taken and sent for re-examination.

At present, the Food Department is only afraid of its quality deteriorating, but its quality will be known only after the test report comes. Edible oils are produced and traded on a large scale in Rajasthan, which are also sent to other states.
