Big News on Wheat Allocation under OMSS Scheme 2025-26

★ In a conference today, when IGrain India asked a question on OMSS, the Food Secretary said that 30 lakh tonnes of wheat has been allocated under the OMSS scheme for 2025-26.

★ He further added that additional wheat may also be allocated depending on market conditions and demand.

★ On the question of when the scheme will be launched, the Secretary stated that the government is still deliberating on this matter.
