Canada Market Overview
Lentils
★ There hasn’t been much activity in the lentil market over the past few weeks.
★ Buyer interest remains inconsistent, with activity only seen as needed — and for now, the need appears limited.
★ International demand continues to be stagnant, keeping downward pressure on pricing.
Large Green Lentils
★ Old crop pricing is around $0.41–$0.42/lb FOB farm, while new crop bids are in the $0.40–$0.41/lb range.
Small Green Lentils
★ Old and new crop prices have aligned, with both trading around $0.34–$0.35/lb FOB farm.
Red Lentils
★ Prices are steady. Old crop is bid at $0.28/lb, while new crop bids are closer to $0.27/lb FOB farm.

★ There hasn’t been much change in the pea markets.
Yellow Peas
★ Both old and new crop pricing is between $9.00 and $9.50/bu on a picked-up basis.
Green Peas

★ New crop is priced between $13.00 and $13.50/bu picked up.
★ Buyers/exporters are mostly waiting on the new crop.
