चावल निर्यात मामले में आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार ने काकीनाडा पोर्ट पर लगाया चेकपोस्ट
★ दरअसल यह चावल BPL कार्ड धारकों के लिए आवंटित किया गया था जिसके निर्यात की सूचना मिल रही है।
★ चेकपोस्ट लगाने के बाद और भी कई दिक्कतें सामने आई जैसे कि जो भी चावल निर्यात हो रहा है उसकी पहले इनफार्मेशन नहीं दी गयी।
★ चेकपोस्ट लगाये जाने के बाद पोर्ट पर लगा ट्रैफिक जाम।
★ पहले अमूमन 15 हजार टन की लोडिंग होती थी जो अब घटकर 3 हजार टन रह गयी।
★ खाद्य मंत्री ने कहा कि करीब 26 हजार टन PDS चावल निर्यात में पकड़ा गया।

विदेशी डिमांड कम होने से चावल के निर्यात भाव घटे
★ थाईलैंड, वियतनाम व भारतीय चावल निर्यात भावों के बीच का अंतर घटा।
★ आगामी सीजन में बम्पर पैदावार होने की उम्मीद को देख कीमतों पर पड़ा असर, भारतीय 5% ब्रोकन पारबॉयल्ड राइस के भाव 536-540$/टन पहुंचे जो गत सप्ताह 539-545$/टन थे।
★ वियतनाम 5% ब्रोकन राइस के भाव 570$/टन दर्ज किये गये जो गत सप्ताह 565$/टन थे।
★ वियतनाम से जुलाई में चावल का निर्यात जून के मुकाबले 46% उछलकर 7.5 लाख टन पहुंचा।
★ कुल निर्यात 7 महीने में 53 लाख टन किया गया गत वर्ष से 8% अधिक।
★ थाईलैंड 5% ब्रोकन राइस के भाव 567$/टन बताये गये जो गत सप्ताह 565$/टन थे।

Andhra Pradesh government installed checkpost at Kakinada port in rice export case
★ Actually this rice was allotted for BPL card holders, export of which is being reported.
★ After the installation of the checkpost, many other problems came to light such as the information of the rice being exported was not given in advance.
★ After the installation of the checkpost, there was a traffic jam at the port.
★ Earlier, usually 15 thousand tons of loading used to take place which has now reduced to 3 thousand tons.
★ The Food Minister said that about 26 thousand tons of PDS rice was caught in export.

Due to low foreign demand, the export price of rice decreased
★ The difference between Thailand, Vietnam and Indian rice export prices decreased.
★ Prices were affected due to the expectation of bumper production in the upcoming season, Indian 5% broken parboiled rice prices reached 536-540$/tonne as against 539-545$/tonne last week.
★ Vietnam 5% broken rice prices were recorded at 570$/tonne as against 565$/tonne last week.
★ Rice exports from Vietnam in July jumped 46% as compared to June to 7.5 lakh tons.
★ Total exports in 7 months were 53 lakh tons, 8% more than last year.
★ Thailand 5% broken rice prices were reported at 567$/tonne as against 565$/tonne last week.
