Edible Oil Prices Trebd at Haldia and JNPT?
From April 1 to April 17, 2025
Palm Oil (Haldia)
★ Prices dropped from ₹1343/10kg on April 1 to ₹1310/10kg on April 17.  
★ The lowest point during the period was ₹1305.
Soybean Oil (Haldia & JNPT)
• In Haldia, prices fell from ₹1280 to ₹1260.  
• At JNPT, a slight decline was observed as prices dropped from ₹1305 to ₹1295.
Mustard Oil (Kolkata)
★ A steady upward trend was seen, starting at ₹1360 and closing at ₹1390.
Mustard Expeller (JNPT)
★ Prices rose from ₹1305 on April 1 to ₹1340 on April 17, indicating strong market demand.
RBD BUNGE (Haldia)  
★ A downward trend was noted, with prices falling from ₹1330 to ₹1290 over the 17-day period.
Cotton Refined Oil (JNPT)
★ Prices remained stable throughout the fortnight, ranging between ₹1330 and ₹1350.
★ Uptrend: Mustard Expeller and RM Oil showed the strongest gains.
★ Downtrend: Palm and Soybean Oil experienced mild weakness.
★ Stable: Cotton Refined Oil remained steady without much fluctuation.  
★ With continued support from international markets and prevailing weather conditions, further strength may be seen in mustard and RM oil. Meanwhile, palm and soybean oil could fluctuate depending on demand trends.
