India – Pulse Crop Situation
★ The condition of pulse crops in the country is not good, with many areas affected by floods and excess rainfall.
★ Tur crops in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Telangana have been hit by excess water.
★ Urad crops in Maharashtra and Karnataka have suffered damage.
★ Crops in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan are maturing under stress.
★ Moong crops in Maharashtra and Karnataka are showing poor quality, while in Rajasthan, weather volatility may reduce yields.
★ Australian chickpea prices remained stable to weak, with bulk offers at USD 530–535 per tonne. Lentils also remain under pressure.
★ Pulse prices stayed weak last week, though some festive demand brought slight improvement.
