According to export sales data, a total of 539,900 MT of corn was sold in the week ending September 4. Mexico purchased 256,500 MT, while Japan bought 143,700 MT. In addition, 1.17 MMT was carried over from the 2024/25 marketing year. For 2025/26, total corn sales have started at 22.601 MMT, the second-largest on record.
According to CONAB, Brazil’s 2024/25 corn production was raised by 2.67 MMT to 139.67 MMT.
