The USDA this morning reported a private export sale of 110,000 MT of corn to Mexico for 2025/26 delivery.
According to the USDA’s Export Sales report, a total of 1.23 MMT of corn for 2025/26 was sold in the week ending September 11. This was an improvement from last week’s decline and 45.4% higher than the same week last year. Of the total, 419,200 MT was sold to Mexico, 201,000 MT to South Korea, and 194,500 MT to Japan.
Brazil’s 2025/26 corn crop has been estimated by CONAB at 138.28 MMT, which is 1.42 MMT lower than the 2024/25 crop. Acreage is projected to increase by 770,000 hectares to 22.63 million hectares (55.92 million acres).
