International Cotton Market  
The ICE cotton market closed the Tuesday session with contracts up 40 to 58 points on the day. The external factors were mixed. Crude oil futures increased by $1.09 per barrel, while the US dollar index was up by $0.360.
The National Cotton Council released its annual spring cotton planting survey, showing intentions to plant 9.6 million acres of cotton this year, down 14.5% from last year.
