USDA’s weekly export sales report showed 541,055 MT of sales for 2025/26 in the week ending September 4. Of this, unknown destinations accounted for the largest share with 431,700 MT, while Taiwan purchased 62,000 MT. A total of 767,049 MT of unshipped 2024/25 sales were carried over to the new marketing year. Total 2025/26 commitments began at 9.35 MMT, the lowest since 2009/10. Additionally, 67,849 MT of 2024/25 sales were reported late to China.

Soybean meal sales were 357,463 MT, within analysts’ estimates of 50,000–900,000 MT. Soybean oil saw net reductions of 6,421 MT, compared to expectations between 0 and 16,000 MT.

NOPA data will be released on Monday, with traders expecting the August crush among members at 182.857 mbu.

CONAB raised its 2024/25 soybean crop estimate by 1.92 MMT to 171.47 MMT.
