International Soybean Market
The USDA reported a private export sale of 20,000 metric tons of soybean oil this morning for the 2024/25 shipment.
According to the weekly export sales report, total soybean export commitments for the marketing year have now reached 44.147 million metric tons (MMT), which is 89% of the USDA's forecast and aligns with the average sales pace. Total shipments for the marketing year stand at 37.009 MMT, accounting for 75% of the USDA’s export projection and progressing at a normal pace.
Ahead of the Monday afternoon Fats & Oils report, analysts expect the January crush total to be 211.1 million bushels (mbu). By the end of January, soybean oil stocks are projected to reach 1.761 billion pounds.
